Pre-validation of activity and expense reports

Review your freelancers' reports before they go out for signature, and accept or reject each one with a reason.

  • New
    Report pre-validation, enabled separately for activity and expense reports in the agency settings: a submitted report moves to pending review, with its own todo and notification.
  • New
    Accept a report to trigger its generation and send it out for signature, or reject it with a mandatory reason: it goes back to draft and the freelancer is told why.
  • New
    Filter the activity and expense report lists on the "pending review" state to handle everything waiting on you in one go.
  • Improvement
    Unified submission for freelancers: a single "Submit" action, and the confirmation dialog says whether the agency has to validate before signature.
  • Fix
    Mileage scale: each trip in an expense report is now priced on the running annual total, instead of each one claiming the full yearly catch-up. Some distances also blocked submission, which is now fixed.
  • Fix
    Signature and comments: French month names and Paris-time deadlines in signature emails, a comments panel that no longer opens on its own, and mentions restricted to the people you can actually tag.

Comments on reports and guided onboarding

Discuss with your freelancers directly inside an activity or expense report, and get started with Billi through a setup checklist.

    Comments on activity and expense reports: a thread shared between the agency and the freelancer, with mentions and participant notifications — which you can turn off from your preferences.
  • New
    In the activity and expense report lists, a bubble shows the number of comments: you can spot at a glance which reports have an ongoing discussion.

    Setup checklist on the agency dashboard, including an optional step to invite a teammate.

    Create a customer company or a contact without leaving the mission form, with a reminder of the roles required to send reports and invoices.
